MBE 2024: Premieres from the “custom” scene
The world’s largest trade show dedicated to custom motorcycles
With its 100,000 sqm of exhibition space and more than 700 exhibitors across 7 themed pavilions, Motor Bike Expo is preparing for the 2024 edition of the international motorcycle show.
This year will also be an opportunity to celebrate 30 years of activity of organisers Paola Somma and Francesco Agnoletto, authentic pioneers in developing and establishing ‘custom’ in Italy, creating a real movement, not only of culture and style, but of growth and business for companies. Motor Bike Expo, year after year, has become the world reference point of the customisation scene.
There will be plenty of novelties in a constantly evolving event able to attract two-wheel riders from all over the world, especially from overseas. In fact, there are many companies that see Motor Bike Expo as an important showcase for the European market. At the same time MBE is a stage that guarantees global visibility and gives Italian tuners access to the most prestigious bike shows on the planet: Just think of the victories of Gallery Motorcycles and Hazard Motorcycles at the contest organised by the Milwaukee-based parent company, at the 120th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson in Budapest; not forgetting the appearances of Asso Special Bike, Devil’s Garage and MS Artrix at the Custom Show Emirates in Abu Dhabi and Dubai; while 70’s Helmets and Abnormal Cycles were selected for the Motorcycle As Art exhibition, on the occasion of the legendary Sturgis Rally (South Dakota – USA). All opportunities for ‘our’ craftsmen to export ‘Made in Italy’ culture, art and refinement abroad.
The International village
Confirming last year’s success, the “stars and stripes” village will be realized again in the 2024 edition. Many will be the exhibitors from the States among the most important names V-Twin Visionary, Sosa Metal Works, Lyndall Brakes, Danger Boy USA, Cali Raised, Bob Seeger Jr. of Indian Larry, Original Garage Moto and many others awaiting official confirmation.
New 2024 and European exclusive: Choppers Magazine Invitational
One of the most attractive novelties and contents of the next MBE is the Choppers Magazine Invitational: a contest for Europe’s best choppers, curated by Cary Brobeck, editor of the world’s coolest Choppers Magazine. After a gruelling tour of chopper shows across the USA – sponsored by head company Harley-Davidson – direct from Los Angeles, a selection of unique pieces will be on display for the first time in Europe, making for a prestigious “chopper show” that should not be missed in Hall 2.
The distribution giants with the poker of aces at Motor Bike Expo
All four of the world’s major motorbike parts and accessories distribution brands will be present at MBE 2024: Custom Chrome, Motorcycle Storehouse, Parts Europe and Zodiac International will be exhibiting their most important new products in Verona, MBE will be the international appointment of the beginning of the season to meet companies and the public.
Custom Chrome will be present with a large area and will award the winner of the coveted MBE Award with an engine worth €10,000.
Motorcycle Storehouse, in addition to the traditional stand in Hall 1, will involve international brands, creating a real district. They will be involved:13 and a Half, Biltwell, Danish Motorcycle Parts, K&N, Killer Custom, Kraus, Roeg, West Coast Choppers… and others to be announced. Parts Europe will have an important space in Hall 1, where special emphasis will be placed on the Drag Specialties brand.
Zodiac International‘s stand is one that every visitor should not miss: a true labyrinth of accessories of every type and for every bike, plus the presentation of incredible custom bikes.
Clubstyle Connection – International Clubstyle Contest
In collaboration with Punta Bagna – Clubstyle Connection doubles the contest of the last edition, inaugurating also the International Clubstyle Contest: a new appointment that will select the best achievements in the genre and will attract custom bikes from all over the world. Confirmed also the “Clubstyle Italian National Contest” curated by MBE, Punta Bagna, Clubstyle Connection and LowRide magazine, also involved in the traditional “Bike Show” dedicated to garages, emerging and private tuners.
Art in all shapes and colours to customise everything
The artistic proposal is now a ‘must’ of the event, thanks to the presence of national and international artists, who give life to live performances of the highest level: Darren McKeag returns to Verona from the United States and the best artists of the Italian scene are confirmed, including Luigi Morgese, Cisko, Blaster, Cosentino, Doctor Brush, the full Association of Italian Artists and many others.
Unique cars between restoration and custom culture
The exhibition of American cars, classic cars, hot rods… strictly pre-1969 is confirmed in Hall 1, a delight for the eyes of customisation enthusiasts, who will be able to admire these unique pieces restored and modified by the best tuners on the scene. The exhibition spaces will be organised by Ramblers cc, 50’s Brothers cc and Portoricano Roma, and here too further confirmation is awaited.
MBE Award presents “The King of custom 2024
The race is on for the most coveted prize among custom-builders from all over Europe and beyond. A high-profile international jury will select the best custom builds at the show, electing “the best tuner at Motor Bike Expo”. Up for grabs, among the many prizes, an engine (worth € 10,000) offered by Custom Chrome.
The appointment is set for lunchtime on Saturday 20 January, more precisely from 1.30 pm, at the Main Stage in Hall 2.
World-class guests of honour
The first guests at Motor Bike Expo 2024 are names to “thrill” fans of custom culture, starting with American tuners Sosa Metal Works, Bob Seeger (Indian Larry), Jeff Holt (V-Twin Visionary) and Paul Yaffe, who will be presenting a brand new – and official – BMW R18 custom at MBE.
